Richard Hatch, the first winner of the reality show Survivor, was convicted of tax evasion for failing to report his winnings and other income to the IRS.
He initially served a 51-month sentence in federal prison and was later ordered back to jail for nine months for violating the terms of his supervised release by not amending his tax returns and paying what he owed.
During this period, Richard Hatch spent time at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This is part of the larger Bridgewater Correctional Complex located in Bridgewater, Massachusetts
