🚨 Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash in East Bridgewater Claims Life of 86-Year-Old Man
East Bridgewater, MA — December 16, 2025 (plimoth)— A morning collision at a busy intersection near Bridgewater has left one man dead and the community in mourning.
Just before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, East Bridgewater police and fire crews responded to a serious motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Plymouth Street and Bridge Street following multiple 911 calls reporting a dangerous collision.
Emergency responders found two vehicles involved, each with a single occupant. An 86-year-old man from East Bridgewater was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, also on scene, refused medical treatment.
Authorities temporarily closed Plymouth and Bridge streets to traffic while crews investigated the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the East Bridgewater Police Department, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and detectives from the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
