PLYMOUTH COUNTY, MA — A powerful storm is expected to impact Plymouth County Monday, bringing periods of heavy rain and potentially damaging wind gusts later in the day.Rain will move into the region during the morning and continue through the afternoon. Winds will begin increasing late in the day,

with the strongest conditions expected Monday evening and overnight.Forecasters say wind gusts could reach 55 to 65 mph, especially along coastal communities including Plymouth, Marshfield, Duxbury, and Scituate.Residents should secure outdoor objects, prepare for possible power outages, and use caution while traveling during the evening hours.

The storm is expected to gradually move out of the region early Tuesday .
