Marshfield is preparing for potential flooding and power outages with this Sunday’s storm. While we will fortunately miss most of the snow from this storm the high winds and astronomically high tides at 10:30 am and 11pm Sunday could cause flooding in usual areas of town…Brant Rock, Esplanade, Ridge Road, Green Harbor…..If there is a power outage we are prepared to open a warming center on Sunday.

This storm is coupled with extreme cold throughout the weekend so be careful if having to travel. Check on elderly neighbors and keep pet’s exposure to the elements limited.  Call the police with any weather-related or other emergencies.
