It will involve roadway work Monday to Friday, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Expect equipment, machinery, and materials in the roadway, with trenches paved daily.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Chip Sealing and Resurfacing Projects in Plymouth:</strong> The Department of Public Works started chip sealing numerous streets on June 17, 2025, as part of their Pavement Management and Preservation Program. Additionally, roadway resurfacing is planned for Henry Drive, Ferry Lane, and Brentwood Circle. You can contact James Downey, Assistant Director of Public Works, at (508) 322-3392 with questions about these projects.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Route 3 Guide and Traffic Sign Replacement:</strong> This construction project is underway on a section of Route 3 from Bourne to Braintree, including structural signing.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Intersection Improvements in Brockton:</strong> Reconstruction of the intersection of Centre Street (Route 123) and Plymouth Street in Brockton is planned to begin in the Winter of 2025/2026. This project includes new traffic signal operation, curbing relocation, ADA compliant sidewalks and pedestrian ramps, and drainage and lighting improvements.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --> <!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>Millstone Road Improvement Project in Brewster:</strong> As of March 2025, this project was ahead of schedule, with curbing installation planned for the spring instead of next fall and preliminary sidewalk work expected before the summer. No work is anticipated between June 15 and Labor Day without Town approval.
